MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES EMBRACING
MY MIND
PEER-TO-PEER
Peer-to-Peer is a National Alliance on
Mental Illness (NAMI) support group. The course was
written by Kathryn Cohan McNulty, who also has
a mental illness. Peer-to-Peer consists of nine
two-hour classes taught by trained mentors. Mentors are trained
in weekend-long training sessions. At the end of the course
participants receive a certificate for completing the class. The
Peer-to-Peer class is open to adults living with a mental health
concern. The class is in session every Saturday from 1pm to 3pm
through April 10, 2010 located at the
H.O.P.E Café 2001 MLK Jr. Drive
Suite 106 Atlanta GA 30310.

Strengthening Each Other
This program is an
Embracing
My Mind, Inc. self-help group that is very
interactive, the class focuses on mental health education,
coping skills and ways to overcome stigma. The group is open to
the residents of Villas of
Hope on Holly Street who are
living with a mental health concern.
