From Executive Director
Thank you for
visiting H.O.P.E. Through Divine
Intervention, Inc’s (HTDI,
Inc) website. I am pleased that you have taken
time out of your day to find out what we’re about and what we
do. As Executive Director, I serve with a deep
commitment to helping reconcile the homeless problem in Atlanta.
Over the last
thirteen
years, I have become intimately familiar with the challenges
faced by homeless persons; although our constituents have a
variety of special needs, the one fact remains, they are in need
of a caring community that is responsive to their needs. As a
result, HTDI, Inc
functions to meet their needs with urgency. It is with that same
sense of urgency that I guide HTDI,
Inc in fulfilling its vital work. Over the past
few weeks, I have been impressed with the commitment and
expertise demonstrated by HTDI,
Inc’s stakeholders.
The
Board of Directors has been
more than diligent in its management of a major construction
project, while lending the Executive and Support Staff the
encouragement and support needed to ensure that daily operations
continue to remain as seamlessly as possible. The staff is
unwavering in its dedication to the organization and most
certainly to the clients it supports each day. Likewise, our
volunteers have remained steadfast and are integral to our
program. Our financial supporters continue their commitment to
our daily operations after giving many generous gifts to
purchase and renovate our new home. I am truly honored to lead
an organization with such strength and devotion at its core.
Homelessness in
Atlanta is changing and HTDI, Inc
is ready to respond to these changes with the same energy and
compassion on which the organization was founded. In the coming
months, I will share with you our thoughts and dreams for our
future. It’s been a pleasure to meet some of our supporters
already and I look forward to getting to know many more of you
soon. I welcome your inquiries, by phone or email, and would be
more than happy to show you our new home. Thank you for your
ongoing partnership in our mission to ensure a safe place for
our residents.
Sincerely,

Selina M. Beene
