H.O.P.E. Through Divine Intervention, Inc.
H.O.P.E. Through Divine Intervention, Inc. (HTDI) is a 501 (c)(3) “community-based” non-profit organization, active for over 14 years, and dedicated to “Helping Other People Excel,” by providing quality, affordable, and safe housing programs, case management, and other supportive services that empower chronically homeless, very low-to-moderate incomeindividuals and families coping with special needs such as substance abuse, mental health, developmental, and HIV/AIDS related issues. HTDI is approved as a state and local CHDO (Community Housing Development Organization), and has successfully managed a variety of housing programs. In 2013, HTDI added its Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Unit, to further serve the needs of individuals and families, including the elderly and disabled, who are not in an emergency situation, but need more assistance than traditional transportation services provide. HTDI is registered with the Georgia Public Service Commission, and is equipped toaccommodate and transport three types of mobility: ambulatory, and those in wheelchairs and on stretchers.
Our work, based upon the philosophy, “When people live better they do better,” is the result of the combined efforts of the people, businesses, organizations, and agencies that make up our community of HTDI Supporters of H.O.P.E. Supporters within our community may take on different individual roles, and represent a wide range of business and social interest groups, but we all share a commitment to Helping Other People Excel, by advancing solutions that empower quality housing and supportive services as platforms to eradicate homelessness, improve the lives of the most vulnerable people, maximize public and private resources, and build healthy communities.
